Roosevelt Park – Edison NJ

So, today was a trip to Edison for an early Mother’s Day lunch with the ‘rents. We were supposed to go hiking up at the Delaware Water Gap, but it wasn’t feasible with the weather. Instead, we grabbed a bite, and then took a few laps around the pond at Roosevelt Park.

This is a fairly populated area of the park near a main road, so there weren’t many good photo opportunities, but we got to watch the cormorants dive for fish.

And, the ducks:

And a hoard of very sociable Sunnies who would follow you when you hung out on the bridge, waiting for you to feed them. It was funny to watch them follow us around.

After that, it was back home. Later in the evening, it did clear up though, so I exploded out of the house for a hike. I’ll make that one a separate post, though.
